Lead generation starts before the form. The buyer must recognise the problem, see why your approach matters and choose a next step that matches their level of interest.

Design the journey

Use content to name the problem. Offer a useful calculator, checklist or diagnostic. Ask only for information that improves the result. Then follow up with advice connected to what the person actually selected.

Add qualification early: business type, need, urgency and team size can save everyone a cheerful but pointless telephone call.

Measure the whole route

Track source, landing-page conversion, qualified-lead rate, response time, meetings and sales. The cheapest source may produce the least useful customers. Cost per lead is not clever enough to travel alone.

Improve one weak step at a time. More traffic should be the reward for a journey that works—not the opening ceremony for a leak.
